Professional or hobbyist - Art is a way to express the imagination (things, places, ideas that are unreal or unknowable) in nongrammatic ways. Unlike words, which come in sequences, each of which has a definite meaning, art provides a range of forms, symbols and ideas with meanings that can be determined by the artist.

It is important to improve your drawing skills by training your brain to see abstraction and capture accurate proportions efficiently.

Art has been one of the many pursue of human curiosity. From our times in caves until modern art. I have met many people who are shy about learning art, which I understand due to its complexity, from a mere pencil to oil painting.

I promise you that I can teach you art if you are teachable. I had complete beginners who came to me to learn, and after explaining the fundemantelas it is up to them how they process to explore and learn from it.

For a simple exercise, we will use a Bargue plate and draw a close enough copy of it in pencil. The purpose of this copy is to improve the ability to see proportions and relationships, to sharpen the ability to see and render subtle differences in line, edge quality, learn to be accurate and see abstract and identify shapes and their silhouette. We will then proceed and do master copies to accommodate to the charcoal medium.

After understanding what accuracy is and doing some master copies with charcoal, you will proceed to work from life with simple objects. Here we will learn about light while applying all the principles of the Bargue plate and working with charcoal.

Depending on your development we will proceed with more complex assignments - casts.

Depending on materials - Pencil or Charcoal - Together we will work towards what you strive for - either fine art/illustration/concept art, etc

The good part of having a private teacher is that you get to work firsthand with the artist.

As a curious person, after my graduation from the Swedish Academy of realist Art, I studied online from people like Dorian Iten, Paul Ingbretson and many others. The part that we don’t get when studying online is the actual direct critique from a physical teacher. I am not shy to show you how to use materials.

We will work together, solve issues you can’t figure out on your own and find ways of developing your style.
